Inspired by how mammals play – we work from the premise that we potentially have more •relational wisdom in our bodies than we do in our minds; this workshop will evoke your •evolutional mammal body to come out and play •using the sides of our body, our shoulders and hips •leaning into each other •taking turns sharing weight and leadership •allowing ourselves to lunge and chase and thump around like bear cubs and lions. •Learn how physical intensity combines with heightened awareness for safety, creates a relationship of trust, intimacy and personal independence. Explore the physical and emotional dynamics of pushing, pulling, bracing, leaning, playing & surrendering. Open to people who are seasoned or new to movement or who may be afraid of physically hurting others or being hurt. Exercises are incremental and modulated and suitable for people who have experienced trauma.
