Dina was first introduced to Bikram yoga in 2012 while attending college at Stony Brook University. The challenge and focus of the practice immediately impacted many aspects of her life. This impact left Dina curious, so she began practicing as many other styles of the physical practice, but also of the spiritual practice. In 2015 Dina received her 200-hour yoga certification from The Yoga Darshana Center in Long Island. She has studied mindfulness techniques at Kripalu Yoga and has attended multiple trainings for Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. She also enjoys implementing yogic philosophy in her work as a mental health therapist. Dina believes that the mat is a vehicle in which we can cultivate present moment awareness and self-compassion. For Dina, her practice is a time where she can stay present and find her physical and mental strength. She is forever grateful to have this practice in her life and she is honored to get the opportunity to now share it with others.
