Kelly’s intention in the yoga room is to help people experience connection to their true self. The physical practice of yoga helped Kelly transform her mind and body as she peeled back the layers of the ego to come into her authentic self. She believes connecting the mind, body and soul through a physical practice is transformational and she aims to help each student make this connection in each one of her classes. Kelly has her 200 hour certification in Vinyasa Flow Yoga from Evolation and has been teaching anywhere and everywhere she can for almost two years; her passion is bringing yoga to the workplace.

Kelly started teaching a lunch time yoga class at her workplace which was supported by the organization’s employee health and wellness program. The class is going strong and even though Kelly left the corporate world she still continues to bring yoga to the workplace. Her classes are fun, creative and always include music and personal stories. She teaches the kind of class that she enjoys to take and loves to encourage each student to strive to find their own intelligent edge in their asana practice. She says, “I see my role as a coach of sorts, I am there to encourage and inspire my students to strive towards their own personal best; as well as find the joy that comes with acceptance and love for one’s true self.” “When we take care of ourselves, we take care of each other. We are all connected, one.” Kelly is very grateful to all her teachers and her students have been some of her best teachers. Come to one of Kelly’s classes and you are guaranteed to sweat, breathe deeply, laugh and grow!
